What are we working on?

I spent an hour or so cutting 2 and 1/2 in. strips of the red, white, and black fabric I bought recently at the shop hop.  Hope to start soon--a week or so-- doing a jelly roll type of quilt.  Will use the strips vertically instead of horizontal.  For the teen boys.
Other than that working on the Piece "O Cake applique, which seems to be a lifetime project.

Cleaning an old machine

What do you use to clean the outside of an old Singer (the 404 again LOL)? I have the book but nothing in it about the outside of it.

Just looked at the requirements for the Millennium Charm. For the background 779 squares; floating border 760, number  "2" 83, first zero 108,second zero 112, third zero, 116. For the letters spelling Millennium,you need 42 squares.  Quite a few squares, looks like.
