    That is very cool! I wonder if anyone ever made that one -- it requires a real balance of lights and darks. Might have been hard to collect for, and it sure would have taken a lot more work than the brainless scrap squares in the pattern I posted.

    Thank you for posting it -- I have never seen it before.

    You could not have made that pattern from the mailed "squishies" collected in 1998 and 1999 because you would not have collected that many off whites or neutrals from a random swap. I bought a set of Y2K squares in through eBay 2004 and then I had to buy a bunch of shirting "nickels" and "layer cakes" to collect enough neutrals to make the pattern I had designed.

    Some of the people I swapped with requested various colorways. I know I did some reds and blues, but not the neutrals like this pattern uses.

    I deleted the last comment because I found more that should have been included. Here is the site that has the swaps I was involved with. Looks like Judy and I were with the same group.
