One of those no good, very bad days

Ack! I was all finished with my DD's quilt. Picked up the digital camera to have DH take a picture, and droped the camera on the tile floor. There is a crack in the lense. I just got off the phone with a local camera shop, it will cost more than the camera is worth to repain it. Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.
On top of that DH has been in a bad mood all week. He is concerned that with all the new taxes on small business (Thanks Pres. Obama) that small businesses will have even a harder time making it. Workman's comp. is going up to over $100 per employee. He's also upset that I don't want to move permanently to the beach. I just don't think I'm cut out to live in a condo full time. It's nice to visit, but I don't want to live with sun and sand all the time. Unless we were millionairs and had maids, etc. and had a big spread. Don't see that happening any time soon.
Sigh. . . . .Any suggestions?

Time to try selling

It's taken me years and some pushing from my family to finally try making a blog from which I might sell some of my quilts. I'd love it if some of you could check it out and critque it for me. Did I leave anything out? I had a hard time giving descriptions but I thought if anyone was really interested they could email me for further information. The link is.

shipping sewing machines

I have had a crazy life for the past several months and have not been following the blog. Now that I need help this was the place I thought of to turn to. I want to ship my Pfaff 2054 to Anchorage, Alaska, where I will spending the next few months caring for my terminally ill brother. I don't know how safe this is and how I go about packing it. I'm sure someone out there has done this before.

Thanks for any advise in advance
