Merry Christmas! And Happy Dance

Merry Christmas to all BBers! We've had our gift exchange last night, Christmas Eve, as it is tradition in Germany. I finished all the quilted gifts in time (4 pillows for family members), after having removed my quilt blockade - the queen size wholecloth quilt I had started at least 4 years ago, I lost count of the years somehow. Well, that one is finished, washed and ready to use. It was part fun, part effort, part duty, but I am really happy that it finally is finished. I don't know how many times I put the audiobook Jane Eyre (18 CDs) in the player and listened to it while quilting, but I know most dialogues by heart now - "There was no possibility of taking a walk that day...." - what a great book! I have taken a few closeup pictures of the quilt when still not washed. It seems uploading photos won't work this morning :-( so I'll try again later.

Dye Magnets

They have done away with the old dye magnets. Shout makes a "Color Catcher" that works really well. It is more of a paper product as opposed to the old fabric dye magnet. I use them all the time, and love them. You can find them in the laundry section.

I'm looking for a dye magnet but not having any luck. Has anyone purchased them recently? Any information is appreciated. Thanks
