It's A Stitch Quilt Show

Okay, Ami Simms will be at the Its a Stitch quilt show on May 3rd and 4th. The show has moved locations from the Washington County fairgrounds here in WI to the Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School on Hwy G outside of Jackson, WI. She is bringing some of the Alzheimer's quilts with her as well as the book that goes with the exhibit. This has been a great show in the past and this special exhibit is using the space usually occupied by the spotlight quilter. This may be the only stop for this exhibit here in WI, and is worth a visit as is Ami--I have taken classes from her in the past and she is a hoot!

Saturday May 3rd 10-4, Sunday May 4th 10-4

Quilt and Stitch Expo of Pueblo, Colorado

Anyone in the area of Pueblo, Colorado may want to attend the Expo today and tomorrow, April 4 & 5. The Expo is featuring Lois Jarvis' Ground Zero quilt. Lois made this quilt to commemorate the victims of 9/11. You can read more about the Expo here. While this quilt is somber and will cause us to pause and reflect, there will be fun aspects to this Expo as well.
