Christmas gift help wanted!!

I just finished a octagon table topper...............but how do I attach the binding? I fell in love with the pattern and forgot I don't know how to bind it. Can anyone explain or send me to a website that has directions. If directions are long my addy is ggmpm2000 at aol dot com
