quilt of valor
Girls, I know it's not nice to brag, but just had to share this E mail I got yesterday.
"Your quilt of Valor has been packed and tomorrow morning will be sent to one of the Medevac pilots in Eastern Afghanistan on the Pakistan border. He will give your quilt to one of the wounded being transported by his unit off the front lines. Your quilt will be there to comfort and warm a young American soldier in his time of crisis." This was sent to me and others who took part in the Jan. quilt of valor retreat.
This was such a simple pattern, red and blue stripes on a white background. It was on the cover of the "Quilts and More" last fall. I named it The Road Home.
