Spray Sizing/Starch

Does anyone have a good recipe for spray sizing, like Magic Sizing or the Best Press by Mary Ellen? I really don't want starch, which is what I get when I try Googling for a recipe. I've seen the results of the Best Press and I like the nice finish it gives, but it seems pretty pricey. Thanks.....NancyH

Quilt Pink

It seems my new Quilt Pink matches the colors on the BB :-) it is almost quilted but my shoulder is on strike so I have to have a break. This is for my neighbor/friend for the obvious reason :-( but it was fun to make and think of her.

Bamboo & Cotton Blend Batting

Have any BBers tried the new blend of bamboo & cotton batting that is available at JoAnn stores? And if you have tried it, what is your opinion? I have oodles of Warm & Natural batting on hand and am not tempted to change but I am always curious about something new on the market. I suppose the idea of using bamboo in batting will appeal to those interested in the renewable "green" market for bamboo certainly grows rampantly since it is a form of grass.

In Need of Blue CW Fabric

I am in need of about 1. to 1.25 yards of a nice blue civil war reproduction fabric to use as a binding on my DJ quilt. I am still on dial up so shopping on line is out of the question and ebay doesn't have what I need. I was hoping someone here might have the perfect piece and would be willing to sell or trade. Something as close to the original as seen on the www.dearjane.com website is what I want.
