my itty bitty quilt

I actually have my tiny quilt done for our show in April.
It's about 17 inches square. I really loved working on it,
so rhythmic or something. I saw the pattern and a sample
in a quilt shop in Kalamazoo MI. I was out the store & then ran
back deciding I needed it. On my way a gal said Boy you seem on
a mission! I told her what I wanted & she said, OMG, I took that class &
decided right away it wasn't for me and I'm selling the kit at our quilt
show this weekend. She made arrangements for me to pick up the kit
the following day & the rest is history!

not exactly a quilt--

Making the current scrap red, white and blue into a UFO while starting on throw pillows and recovering 4 chairs. (yes, it is an exciting life I lead) I've never put cording on throw pillows, but checked out E-how and the instructions with the lip cording at Jo-Ann's and figure I can do it. The dinette set we bought for the condo came with gold seat cushions. I knew immediately that they would have to be re-done, so they will get the same fabric as the throw pillows so it will look coordinated. The fabric is a print, abstract flowers of tile blue, aqua, white, with the trim being white.
