Vintage sewing patterns?

This isn't really quilty, but didn't know where else to turn. Does anyone know if there is a market for truly vintage sewing patterns anywhere? I got a bunch in an auction box today (I didn't want the box but it went with something else!!). They are from when patterns originally sold for 50 cents so are the old sizes. I really haven't taken them out of the box to look at them, but would like to pass them on to someone who might appreciate them. If you know of any on-line trading post like places, I'm open to suggestions.

TIA!!!

Judy, I won a vintage pattern on e-bay once. If you don't want the hassle of setting up the e-bay sales account, etc., I'll bet there's a "shop" somewhere near you that is handling e-bay sales (for a percentage of the take) where you might reap a few dollars.

Hi, Beth, you can browse eBay to see what vintage patterns are selling. I'm guessing 50 cent patterns may be too recent? 1970s? I love the 1940s designs.
Another thought .. I've used the tissue paper from the more recent patterns as packaging material for fragiles. BTW, old doll clothes patterns are collected by doll collectors, in case you have any of those in the box. Apron patterns are collectable. Also infant size babies - think dolls. Best,

I will be listing these patterns on ebay tomorrow in 5 sets. I have been sewing since the 60s and these patterns are from before that. I have never seen a Vogue pattern for 50 cents. Some of these say 35 cents. And there are also some in German. I am listing them by ladies, babies, little girls, German and formal/apron. I think if you look at the ladies' dress styles you might be able to tell the decade. I'm not very good at that any more.

I stand corrected Judy Pete. After looking thru the patterns, only McCalls dates theirs and those few in the lot are dated 1961. Still though, the 50 cent Vogue did give me pause. LOL I started sewing in 1966 so they really were before my time!!!
