Famous Fabric Designer Laurel Burch Has Died

Laurel Burch, who designed those distinctively vivid rainbow cats and dogs and other fabrics, has died of a rare life-long health problem. She was only 61 years old. I've used some of her fabrics in the past .... she always made sure they were printed on the best greige goods and so they were indeed yummy to look at and good stuff to work with as well. The local quilt shops will be a bit duller without her bright bolts on the shelves.
