You mean the spray glues for basting? Like Sullivans, Sulky, June Taylor? I sure do! I absolutely love them -- and I totally ignore the many people who go on at length about the perceived health hazards! LOL I use them outside on my deck where there is no problem with ventilation and overspray is not a big deal. Just read the can and follow the directions and you will have the most perfectly stable, pucker free basting you have ever had!
Jean at Mill Bay -- who bought a case of the stuff a while back!
I use 505 basting spray and I use it in the house with no problem at all. However, don't bother to use basting spray on polyester batting. Doesn't work for me. I feel it is meant for cotton batting only. Also, tape the batting down, spray the batting, then smooth out the backing. Flip over, tape down, spray the batting, smooth the top down. Somehow I have an easier time of it if I spray the spray adhesive on the batting.
I use the stuff all the time. I spray lightly and then pin lightly. I have tried quite a few and definitely prefer the Sulky. I buy it when I have a coupon. It is considered a notion at JoAnne's and I can get it for 50% off from time to time. I am stuck on adhesives! After you try it you won't want to go back! Bunny
