Liberated Baskets -2

Whoops - forgot the picture.

I had so much fun doing these. Just cut out a basket, add side background, then decide what kind of handle. There are pieced ones, appliqued ones, and thread-painting ones.

There are baskets of lemons, peppers, raspberries, blueberries, bluebonnets, cactus, flowers, and plain-o baskets.

Hope you are all enjoying this Easter day.

    Judy, they are soooooo cute!
They would sure make a fun swap!
I don't have Qwen's newest book, so I'm no help. Does her's have a applique border?
I really like the way you have placed them. Jill

Judy, those are indeed very cute baskets, sort of an I Spy for grown-ups. I don't know why but I would be tempted to add something peeping out of one basket .... a mouse's ears and eyes or something very tiny like that Just a weird idea, but some little "surprise" in one of the baskets or hidden in one of the fabrics of a basket.

Well I don't have my pieces of frog fabric or would send to you, you could have a frog peeping out (I'll post a picture of a block swap I made). Baskets are really pretty! Lavinia-TN
