Summer projects? in No. America anyway

OK, what are some of the quilting projects people are working on during the next 3 months of summer in North Am? Since I've finished up the Red,White, & Blue thing, I'm hoping to start the one for the 10 yr. old grandson. It is one with space monsters, raw edge applique. I think that would be a good gift for a boy. At least I hope sew.
It is hot and sticky here, so staying in the A/C and quilting sounds like fun to me.
What about the DUGS? Any projects in the plans?

Of course every summer I say I'm going to dye fabric.....will this be the summer? We will see!
I have sort of an organized group of UFO's I need to work on.
    A quilt called Picket fence.
    A really wild Braid quilt.
    A star buggy barn.
    Montana Cartwheel.
A Karla Alexander one, name escapes me.
And I finally have all the fabrics for A wonderful Helen Knott cat pattern, "Sleeping Cats"?
Currently I'm working on my GFG, inserting extra blocks on the edges that have too strong a concave, but only need 6, 3/4 blocks.
Aren't you sorry you asked Sara?

Jill I am glad I asked, especially since you were the only one who posted an answer.
What is a GFG? I'm sure when you tell me I'll say, Oh, yea.
Glad to know that all the way over there in Portland someone has UFOs too.

I wish I could make up my mind about what my summer projects will be. Having just paged through many years' worth of quilting magazines (and finding out that previously marked patterns don't interest me at all), I'm thoroughly confused. I have two quilts at the MQer, which will need to be bound and sent to the show at Sisters...Jill, will you be there this year? There are borders to be added to a couple of other tops, neither of which is calling at the moment. So all in all, I'm not very quilt-motivated at the moment.

    Sara, Grand Mother's Flower Garden.
    Kathi, definatley going to Sisters,
have my room reserved from last year. My goal however will be to spend a week someday not just one night!
What I call The Seattle Show(some big abbreviation)is this summer too. It's in Tacoma & is always a fav. It's about 5 states and parts of Canada & has the nicest mix of traditional and modern quilts.
I missed most of the spring shows around here so I'm looking forward to the summer ones. I stop by the map & find your quilt at Sisters!
