Wash prequilted stuff?
OK kiddies here's a dumb question, I know. I wash all the fabric I buy. Now I have bought some prequilted fabric to make a cushion cover for DH wheelchair cushion. Do you wash the prequilted stuff too? I can't think of any reason not to -- wouldn't think the stitching would come out or anything.

I was everything too.
I'd say "Yes" wash it.
You don't know where the fabric has been, or how much dust is sitting in it.

I wash everything, too. And I would also wash the prequilted stuff. It has the same possibility of shrinkage or color movement as anything else. You will probably want to wash the finished project when it gets soiled, so you might as well know what it's going to do ahead of time.
