Doing Big-Time Snoopy Dance
With two days remaining until Christmas, I finished my DIL's all purple "lap" quilt. It was two years between deciding to make it and the final product but turned out much better, and bigger, than I expected. As a very novice quilter, it has been my most ambitious undertaking so far and grew to fit the top of a double bed! She loves purple and I love pansies, which are printed on the fabric used for the corner hearts. Hence, the name is A Plethora of Purple and Pansies. Now to wait until tomorrow to see if she likes it.
A very Merry Christmas to everyone and best wishes for a happy, healthy new year.

Margaret, I love your quilt! Did you design it? It's a beautiful pattern. Bunny

Dear Bunny - Thanks for your ego-boosting comments. Yes, I did design it if you could call it that. It kind of just grew! My DDIL was thrilled with it's "purpleness." Probably could have used a bit more hand-quilting, but I ran out of time. P.S. Won't be doing anything purple for a long, long time!!!
