Here's my "Almost Free" quilt. We started a little group with the goal of making quilts from our stash only. I have 4 started & this one completed. I did have to pay for the quilting of course but the only other expense was 1.99 for thread to match my binding since I wanted to machine attach it with a decorative stitch. It's a good feeling to use up some fabric that's for sure!
Jill your quilt is wonderful. Can you tell me what pattern you used?
ReplyDeleteOhhh, I love this quilt. Great idea to use up fabs.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT! And to echo Laura, what pattern is it?
ReplyDeleteWow, Jill! This looks great! Plus useing stash fabrics only adds a special feel to it, doesn't it. Congratulation!
ReplyDeleteMary in Oregon
The pattern is from one of the earlier Buggy Barn books.
ReplyDeleteI borrowed someone's book for class. I might be able to find out
which book, I thought it was on the cover though.
It's the "Star Crossings" Book.
ReplyDeleteI think I need that book, looks like there would be some great
Quilts of Valor quilts in there.
I, too, consider the fabric in my stash to be "free"! Great quilt!
ReplyDeleteJill. I love this quilt , Beautiful and so satisfying to shop at home ,
