Do any of you have this great gadget? What has been your experience with it? Do you know if it can be used with the older Bernina 930? There isn't a dealer anywhere near me and as always, I can not find the answer to my question on their web site. Thanks, Sandra from SC
Well I tried one out at a dealer and was not impressed, particularly considering the cost. It stitches only as fast as you move the fabric.. but then there are people who just love it... did you go into any of the Bernina forums?

I was going to, but never could find them. If I understand correctly, you can adjust the BSR to stitch at your pace are faster. Thanks for replying Lavinia. I can always count on a reply from you.

Sandra, if you go to google and type in Bernina Stitch Regulator and hit the "I'm feeling lucky" icon it will take you to a great site where you can learn all about it and which models it is available on.
ReplyDeletePeople either love the BSR or they don't.
ReplyDeleteI bought a new Bernina four months ago and passed on the BSR. It was going to cost another $800-$900. It also looks like it would block the visibility of marked quilting lines 'behind' that big BSR foot.
