I have been going through all of my stuff reorganizing and purging fabric I will never use. I have the "Shades of God" Collection from Keepsake Quilting (it can be seen on page 25 of their Fall catalog)and about eight pounds of fabric to part with. If you are interested in any of this, please email me at lightningsjATjunoDOTcom, changing AT and DOT.
Sandra,a suggestion for when you send it to someone, try to use the $9 Priority box from the post office. I sent scraps and got 7 pounds of them in the box and could have stuffed 2 pounds more in easily. I ran out of scraps! For me it was cheaper postage than any other way. Weight doesn't matter in these boxes.

Describe the 8 yards a little bit! Any batiks? Orientals? 30s repros? Colors? We're all fabriholics you know.
ReplyDeleteWhat year is the fall catalog - the 2007 pg 25 doesn't show what you are describing. (This one has a witch on the cover)

If you really want a person to be terribly grateful you could send them to me here in Spain. Fabric is nearly impossible to get here, it's expensive (minimum $15 a yard) and we're on a fixed income. You wouldn't have to send it Priority, even! I don't know if they do surface mail anymore, but that would be fine.

I would love to take some of your extra stash, I am now making crazy quilts and quilts out of men's dress shirts.
