Earlier this year I requested a pattern on this page and was overwhelmed by the response, and subsequent arrival, of the sort-after pattern.... Was I wrong to do that ?
No. If I have a pattern or can give instructions for making a pattern I don't mind sharing the information. If I bought the pattern or book it's mine to give to anyone as long as I don't make a copy of it.
Marion, you did nothing wrong. This is a quilty list and we exchange things all the time. Look how many of us copied the disappearing 9 patch! Don't pay any attention to the whiners. It has been so peaceful on this new version of the list. This list is such a good resource!!! And everyone needs to remember that Sue & Eric do this out of the goodness of their hearts and they also have lives to live!
you can ask anything, anywhere, anytime. Have you seen rules posted here? Just because Pattern Request was a seperate feature does not mean this board could not have been used, and probably was used in the past, and will be in the future.
