Flannel for batting

I had lots of 100% cotton flannel in my stash so I started using it for batting. I wash and dry it first. I like it better then regular batting.

    I have made 10 little quilts for Ami Simms' Alzheimer Art Quilt Initiative. All of those have flannel for batting because the small ones are much easier to handle that way. I agree, it's a great alternative and drapes beautifully. Bunny
