Sue's Posts

I am putting Sue's posts here to see if there is interest out there. Sue is a quilt shop owner in Germany who wants to know if others are interested in reviving our conversations.

I am really frustrated about not being able to post here any more. I have written to Eric twice, he replied to my second mail but there have was a solution. This BB seems to be soooo quiet - I would love to revive it, but how? Make a new board somewhere else that actually works for everyone? Let me know what you think!

What a pity that this fabulous Bulletin Board sort of "died", don't you think so? What would you say to moving this to a different kind of discussion board, like a phpbb board system? Just an idea... we have been quilting together for years (since 1999) and I always think it is hard to give something like this up just because of technical problems. I haven't seen postings for ages!

    It would be great to see more postings on the BBs. I "found" the Board many years ago and have had so much pleasure getting to know quilters from around the world and reading of their lives. For the most part I have had little difficulty "posting" or Commenting" but I feel as if I'm talking to myself sometimes ! If we do start something else , make it very easy please !!

    I've tried to post a response twice to no avail. Trying again. I would love to see this site busy again. Used to check it first thing every day till it changed and no one here. I have it bookmarked on my old laptop but can't figure out how to get there from scratch on the new one. The original link no longer works. My yahoo quilt chat group is dying, too. Would love to see this one make a comeback.

    I think there isn't much traffic any more here on the BB. I will try to open a new board at phpbb.com. Back to the roots - Bulletin Board! I will let you know how that works out. Hopefully, we can re-unite the old gang again, that would be fun. It's been more than 15 years that I have been a member!
