I've also just shipped off large lap quilts to two of my grandsons with birthdays happening now.

The quilt on the design wall is a lighter weight (not flannel) quilt for our travel trailer. I found some fabric with salmon canning labels and am using a black/white/gold/red stripe that looks kind of like beach upholstery as an accent. The background is a light aqua.

KathiKathi in Idahohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03421320180733450928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3698041040077198276.post-39588851693832096562013-01-25T12:15:38.254-05:002013-01-25T12:15:38.254-05:00I have a king size wholecloth in the frame and wil...I have a king size wholecloth in the frame and will spend the next 5 years hand quilting it. For my weekly quilt group meetings I have a reverse applique wall handing I am picking away at. And on the Horizon I have a fun project -- a friend found a box of squares with most of the rows pinned together when cleaning out her parents home. She gave it to me to see if there was anything of interest to me in it. Unbeknownst to her, I am completing it and will give it back to her. The big problem was that it has been pinned together for over 40 years and there are rust marks from many of the pins, but I have found a way to deal with that (I hope!)

And when that is done I should be able to start piecing my Y2K+13 quilt top! Marion's squares arrived and are waiting for me!

JeanJean at Mill Bayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13114061690900008059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3698041040077198276.post-85111608411207034722013-01-25T10:27:05.415-05:002013-01-25T10:27:05.415-05:00I'm still working on my reproduction of my ori...I'm still working on my reproduction of my original Y2KQ.
