The list shows quilting time between 500 & 900 hours. I'm not disputing that; if you're doing intricate quilting, it very well could be that high. <br /><br />However, I don't think "most" professional quilters charge by the hour for quilting. It has been my observation that the quilting charge is by the square inch. Easy meanders have a low rate per square inch; heirloom quilting has a very high rate per square inch.<br /><br />But even with an heirloom quilting I don't think it would be in the range of 900 hours.<br /><br />So, I think *that* part (only the quilting) of the list is somewhat misleading.Shelley: the Dread Pirate Rodgershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13431557867878383150noreply@blogger.com
