I just want to say that in Judy Martin's Block Book you will find the same star designed by her but with different color placements. On p.93 it says she designed it and first published it in her Scraps, Blocks and Quilts. Her name for the block is Delft Star.I know she carefully researches her new designs before she claims them as her own. So take that for what it is worth. Just my 2 cents.
Why do I think I have seen this star as a kit in Keepsake Quilting? Or perhaps some other catalog?

www.quiltedgallery.com has it for sale as "Rainbow Card Trick." I don't know if it's original to that site or not.
ReplyDeleteYes, Beth, that's the woman who designed the pattern. Thanks for solving the mystery.

Thanks for the information Beth. I appreciate it.

It is a variation of the Star Spin Pattern by Barbara Schaffeld. Isn't it pretty?
