Many years ago, Mr. Cunningham was in a twosome with a quilter in Michigan, Gwen Marsden. She has written several books. They used to have quilting retreats at her place on Beaver Island, in Lake Michigan. I understand he's now in California, married, with a couple of kids.
Joe Cunningham was on Simply Quilts with Alex. He is a hand quilter. It was not that long ago that the show he was on, played on HGTV.
ReplyDeleteGwen still holds the retreats on Beaver Island. She has a wonderful new book with Freddie Moran which shows her "Liberated Quilting" style with Freddie's wonderful colors. Gwennie is a HOOT!
